UBOC project recently reactivated

Drillmec and UBOC (Umid Babek Operating Company) are working on a project for an offshore drilling facility utilized for drilling 10 wells in the "UMID 2", the second largest natural gas field in Azerbaijan situated in the South Caspian Sea.

The project has been recently reactivated after being put on hold initially until the start of 2023 due to the global pandemic.

Drillmec will supply the 3000 HP drilling package and a variety of services ranging from basic design and detailed engineering of the drilling facility, the supply of the drilling equipment to procurement, installation and commissioning assistance.
