The Drillmec After Sales Department provides maintenance service and repair work on drilling rigs as well as drilling equipment.
Our speciality is the rig up and commissioning of drilling rigs or drilling equipment as well as technical and software babysitting with a 24/7 on call assistance or through a remote support or with an on site supervision.
Rig Up & Commissioning
During the initial part of the rig lifetime Drillmec provides technical expertise to properly handle all the phases of the equipment installation. Our experienced commissioning Engineers will install the rig in the safest and most efficient way. All the commissioning executions are based on a clear process and a straightforward communication in order to guarantee the compliance with time and costs.
On call 24/7 Assistance
In order to grant an improved assistance service and a better help to its Customers, Drillmec has decided to activate a phone number available on a 24 hour basis 7 days a week. This number can be called in case of emergency and its main aim is to minimize the possibility of a long stop on rig’s drilling operations, avoiding any potential arising problem.
On Site & Remote Assistance
Our experts with an advanced technical background can support you on ordinary routines or troubleshooting activities. Through a remote support or with an on site supervision the critical situations are always handled in time and efficiently.
Technical & Software Babysitting
MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL BABYSITTING: experts with an advanced technical background and significant experience in field either electrical technician or mechanical technician are able to support and show you day by day how to perform the troubleshooting activities and/or the ordinary routines.
SOFTWARE BABYSITTING: experts with an advanced technical background and significant experience in the field, our Software Engineers are able to support you on troubleshooting activities and/or on ordinary routines. With a remote support or with an on site supervision the software situation is always handled in time and efficiently.
Maintenance
With an equipe made of Engineers skilled and specialized on single rig/components, we can advise an optimal maintenance and replacement schedule. Able to reach world wide based rigs we can ensure performances optimization and renewed reliability.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE: to be done based on pre-defined schedule, which is made based on the failure index.
ON-GOING MAINTENANCE: to be done depending on the risk/benefit evaluation.
CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE: to be done based on the risk/benefit evaluation.
Survey
With a proactive and specific inspection program we are able to provide an appropriate Scope of Work to increase the rig’s lifetime. Dedicated tools, maintenance and usage history are cross checked and used to identify and detect faults earlier. Results and potential degradation issues are identified and reported to you in order to plan the intervention needed and to improve the maintenance plans.
